Lost wax casting is a traditional and widely used technique in jewellery making. Learn to carve your design in jewellers wax, and understand the fascinating process of how it will be cast in metal.

We will give a demonstration on how to use the tools provided, and offer techniques to apply to your design to create your ring. You will be guided every step of the way and together we will carve your idea in to a wearable ring!

All materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary.

We always provide some snacks and drinks to make this a relaxed, fun environment.

By the end of the class, your piece will be completed. Lead times are currently 6-7 weeks.

Workshop ticket - £55,
this includes your experience, materials and tools, demonstration of tools and guidance through each step (does not include your ring)

Your ring cast in recycled sterling silver - £80
this is extra and includes cleaning up and polishing, size check, and postage back to you

Casting in gold - dependent on weight

Gemstones - from £20

Gold plating - £45

*If your ring weighs over 20g in silver there will be an extra charge that is determined by the weight of your finished ring.
